[Insight-users] Questions not in FAQ

Hi,

I am new to this list and had a few questions not covered in the FAQ.

First, there is no mention of a Linux version/branch?  Is there one?  Is 
there a specific reason for Windows only support?  How hard does it 
appear to be to port to Linux (Ubuntu)?

Second, I'm trying to figure out where ITK ends and other tools begin. 
I am familiar with TI's MIDAS platform (see link below) but am having 
trouble understanding how far reaching is ITK?  Will it read many 
ultrasound files, etc?
