[Insight-users] Supply custom first derivative image to Canny edge filter

Hi guys,

I was wondering whether I can somehow slip gradient magnitude image
calculated and enhanced by myself. Enhancement is mostly amplification of
edges which correspond to sheet-like structures. This enhancement was done
using eigen-analysis of the structure tensors of the original image.

There is no "SetGradientImage" method in Canny edge filter. Is there a way
to circumvent this, short of sub-classing Canny filter and making the
necessary changes?
