[Gib Bogle]

Hi,

I'm thinking of trying to skeletonize some big images with this filter.  Before 
starting, I'd like to get an idea of whether or not it's likely to be able to 
handle my files.  For example, one image is 1700x2200x350.  I am using 64-bit 
code on a computer with 12 GB of RAM.  If not, I could resort to chopping the 
image into pieces to process, but this is not a very appealing option.
