[Insight-users] 2D 3D registration

Hi,

I am looking into doing 2D 3D registration within ITK and have a few questions.

1) How accurate does the initial seed position need to be to ensure
convergence to the correct solution?
    1.a) Roughly how far in terms of the rotation and translation will
the algorithm be suitable?
2) What methods are used to validate the accuracy of the final registration?
    2.a) How accurate are these verification/validation metrics?
