[Insight-users] Question about SignedMaurerDistanceMapImageFilter

Have you looked at filling the wholes caused by you contours with an algorithm such as BinaryFillholeImageFilter or a RegionGrowing methods? This hopefully will make the image compliant with the expected input to the signed distance function.

I believe this toggles when the inside is positive, and the outside negative and visa versa.
