[Insight-users] RegionGrowingSegmentation app crashes on large 3D images

Hello, I have been trying to use RegionGrowingSegmentation to perform
region growing segmentation on some 3D Dicom images.  I was able to succeed
on a small series of Dicom images by first transforming the DICOM series to
a .vtk file using DicomSeriesReadWrite2.exe.  However, on a full series of
DICOM images, RegionGrowingSegmentation crashes with a memory error.  (or
at least I think I see a memory error appear in the console right before it
dies).

Any ideas on how to overcome this?  I have been poking through the code to
see if I can allocate more memory somewhere, but I can't find anything like
that.
