[Insight-users] MetaIO, large volume (>2GB) and HeaderSize

Hi Simon,

Hacking the .mhd file may not be a good way to select a slice.
Instead, try something like
http://www.itk.org/Doxygen/html/classitk_1_1ExtractImageFilter.html.

MetaIO is maintained alongside ITK/VTK.
