[Insight-users] Multiresolution Registration using BSplineTransform

ITKers,

I would like to do a multiresolution registration using an image pyramid 
and BSplineTransform as my transform. Further, I would like to increase 
the grid resolution of the transform at each step to take advantage of 
the larger size of the next image.

Changing the grid seems straight forward but  I would also like to take 
the deformation parameters resulting from fitting the smaller grid and 
calculate suitable parameters for the next larger one so that the 
optimizer can start on the new image with the best position possible.

is there any support in ITK for doing this? I haven't found any examples 
or documentation of this.
