[Insight-users] How-to ink-in (or burn) text into a DICOM image

Good day

I am looking for a programmable way to ink-in (or burn) text into a DICOM image.
Something like:  WriteToImage(image, x, y, fontsize, intensity, "have a nice day");

Does itk include any support for this beyond simply updating pixels?
If not, are there any other available SDKs that support this?
