[Insight-users] Choice of connectivity in BinaryThinningImageFilter

Dear all,
         I'm computing the skeleton using the
itk::BinaryThinningImageFilter. The filter seems to output a skeleton which
has "width" 1, but measured in 4-connectivity. In 8-connectivy this
skeleton is 2 pixels wide in some places. I would like to change that for
my application, but I could not find any suitable option in the
documentation of filter, nor in the examples.
Has anyone faced this issue before?
