[Insight-users] Help reconstruction 3D

I am trying to apply the filter
geodesicActiveContourLevelSetImageFilter to  DICOM image segmentation then
I want to save with a button (I use qt) each result in a file, then I do
the 3D reconstruction from the results recorded in files

1 /  which extension I use to store the result of the image after
segmentation?
2 / I recorded in files or a single file?
3 / How do I get my data for Reconstruction and what is a procedure to be
followed for the reconstruction?

I am sorry for my many questions, help pleasse.
