Hi Luis, hi everyone,

I want to do segmentation based on statistics. There are two color images,
one is the background image, the other is the ROI image. Firstly I want to
do a minimum distance classification using Mahalanobis distance. The inverse
covariance, mean vector of both background and ROI image were computed. Then
the distance (X-Bmean)invCov_background(X-Bmean)' and
(X-Rmean)invCov_ROI(X-Rmean)' were computed. Through the pixel distance to
background and ROI image, judge the threshold value to be 1 or 0. Can you
give me some advice on how to implement this function in the ITK framework?
I have not clearly understand how to use
MahalanobisDistanceMembershipFunction to implement this ?

Thanks a lot!

Fucang
