Hi Ashish

NAMIC has an effort on using the LONI Pipeline for
running ITK and VTK base code on the Grid.

http://www.na-mic.org/
http://www.na-mic.org/Wiki/index.php/SoftwareInventory#The_LONI_Pipeline

ITK in itself is not Grid-enabled, and it is not
designed for being used in Clusters.

Several users have expresses interest in implementing
methods such as deformable registration in a way that
will make them compatible with parallel clusters.
(E.g. by using MPI)

We created for them a page in the ITK Wiki:

http://www.itk.org/Wiki/ITK_Working_Group_Parallel_Computation

It a group of users is interested in taking this initiative
further, you should take advantage of this Wiki page for coordinating
your discussions, and once you get to a consensus, then write a
proposal paper to the Insight Journal:

Please let us know if you have further questions.

   Thanks

     Luis
