[Insight-users] _beginthreadex identifier not found

Hi,
 I am trying to build itk on a system with vtk already working. I'm trying
to build with vc++ 8.0. When I open itk.sln and build all, most of them
build fine. ITKcommon.lib does not get created and I get the complaint

_beginthreadex identifier not found

I think this has something to do with the fact that I need to set runtime
library to compile with the multi-threaded DLL turned on, but it still gives
the same error.

Can anyone provide any pointers ?
